Wrist Band Machine with Lamination and Die Cutting
Paper roll in, finished wristbands out, in one pass.
Three machines' work in a single pass
The Wrist Band Machine makes finished wristbands from a paper roll in a single pass. It unwinds the paper and the release paper on two separate stations, coats the release paper with hot melt glue through a slotter die, laminates the two webs together, die cuts the wristband shape on a rotary die, then carries the bands down a long conveyor to a collecting tray at the end.
Shops that make wristbands the usual way run three machines and handle the material three times: laminate, glue coat, die cut. This machine does all three in line, so a roll goes in one end and boxed-ready wristbands come off the other. Fewer handling steps means fewer registration errors, and one operator instead of three.
Both unwind stations take ø600 mm rolls on 3 inch air shafts and carry imported ultrasonic web guides. The paper side holds tension through an auto electronic tension controller with load cell feedback. The release paper side runs a powder brake with an amp meter, which lets the operator see the braking load rather than guess at it. The slotter die lays glue to the release paper width, so adhesive lands only where the band needs it.
Die cutting runs on a rotary unit with a nip roller and an 80 teeth magnet cylinder. The flexible die is made to your wristband design, so band length, punch holes, tear line and tab shape are yours rather than a fixed pattern. After the die there is a short conveyor and then a long conveyor with vacuum hold-down, which keeps light bands flat at speed and gives a mounting point for a batch coding unit if you number or date the bands.
Typical output goes to events, concerts, hospitals, water parks, resorts, clubs and entry management. Label converters add the machine as a new product line. New businesses buy it to produce and sell wristbands direct.
RK Label Printing Machinery Pvt. Ltd. has built label and packaging converting machines in Ahmedabad, Gujarat since 1995 and exports to 23+ countries including the USA, UAE, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.
Key Features
Lamination, hot melt gluing and die cutting run inline, replacing three machines.
Separate ø600 mm unwinds for paper and release paper, each with its own guide.
Auto electronic tension control holds the web steady as the roll runs down.
The release paper operator reads the actual braking load instead of guessing.
The slotter die lays glue to the release paper width, so it goes only where it belongs.
Rotary die cutting with a nip roller for clean sheet cutting.
Holds light bands flat to the belt at speed instead of letting them lift.
The long conveyor is built to carry a batch coding unit for numbering or dating.
Three phase AC motor on a Schneider or Inovance drive for smooth speed control.
The flexible die is made to your wristband shape, not to a fixed house pattern.
